I looked forward to high school all summer long. My friends that are already in high school just laughed at me and said "Wow! That's going to chnage!" and it did. One thing that is unexpected about high schools so far is the amount of homework that we get each night and the time I spend doing it. In geometry we get piles of homework and it takes me hours to finish it and then I still have all my other homework from my other 6 classes. In my middle school classes, I very seldomly had homework to cdo at home. Now there is no time to try to get my homework done in class because the lessons never stop. I do have time to get things done during study hall and my free period but I still have a lot to do at home too. So I guess high school is a lot different based on the work that we are given and the work we do. I am okay with it though. It keeps me busy.
