The Unexpected Thing About Highscool
A lot of highschool is what I expected. It's all pretty typical. Exactly what you would expect to get from about a thousand human beings between the ages of fourteen and eighteen all trapped in the same building for eight hours a day. What a great idea. One thing that struck me was how long our classes are. An hour and a half doesn't seem so long until its spent trying to unwind the mysteries of algebra 2. The most surprising part about highschool though, is realising how imporrtant the ability to drive is. As a freshman, not being able to drive sucks. I find myself sitting around after school for an hour befor practices, taking naps in the grass outside during off period, and partaking in very boring lunches. All because I can't drive. Other then not driving and having an hour and a half of math class with out break, highschool is pretty normal.
