Since 2003 (When I joined my most recent Foster family, just over ten years ago), I have been on numerous holidays, mostly to Paxos in Greece. My first holiday there was in 2006, I went again in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. Paxos is a small island, located near Corfu. It takes 3 hours on the plane from Birmingham to get to Corfu, and then a boat trip that takes roughly 45 mins to Paxos - this boat is known as the Flying Dolphin. Paxos has three main towns - Lakka, Loggos, and Gaois. All three have stunning views and restaurants.

When we visit Paxos in the summer, it is normally hot (25-30 degrees) meaning we wear lots of sun-cream and normally lounge around sunbathing. The sea is the most beautiful part for me, mainly because when you go snorkelling you see many types of fish including starfish, rainbow looking fish and silver fish. I have also spotted a baby jellyfish at a beach called Avalaki Creek - but I did not go near it, I just swam away. I never thought being fostered would allow me to go to Paxos, but since going about 6/7 times I love it.

I have been with my carers for nearly eleven years, and I have to say, many people may think we look like an odd family, but they have cared for me for a long time and in the future I hope to thank them!
