The Move
An orange and white U-Haul truck parked in our driveway. Workers sweating cause they worked all day. The delicious chocolate cake in the oven .The sun’s rays, hot like a blazing fire as it beaming down on me. We’re outside by saying our goodbyes. Thinking about what my life would be like somewhere else. Spectacular music blasting from the house as loud as a baby elephant. Our luggage ready to start a new life, somewhere else. Two kids in one car tow kids in the other car. My friends and I crying like a person mourning the dead. Our sleeves covered in tears. Friends enjoy our last minute of good company minute of our good company. My new life awaits somewhere else...…
