Vans Warped Tour 2013
One morning at 5:30 a.m. I woke up I my warm bed, cold room, to “king for a day” by Pierce the veil blasting. I jumped out of my bed and turned my alarm off. I ran to my pearl white and stormy gray bathroom to get ready. There was so much adrenalin pumping through my blood. I was finally going to Vans Warped Tour 2013. When I was done getting ready I had on black shorts, Sleeping with sirens shirt, black adidas, and a lot of sunscreen on because I’m really pale, and all of my wrist bands. I had about seven of them on. Four on one wrist and three on the other.
When I got in my mom’s car, were where off. I hooked my phone up the mp3 input jack. So the whole ride we were listening to black veil brides, sleeping with sirens, bring me the horizon, blessthefall, and pierce the veil. We had our drew string bags with us. Mine was all black, and my mom’s was the hunger games. We also had can food so we could get in the gates earlier than other people. We finally got to vinoy park in St. Petersburg. At first it looked like there was hardly anyone there . Then we got to the line. There were hundreds maybe even thousands of people in line. The line looked like it went on for miles and miles.
We finally got to the end of the line. People had so many different colors of hair. There was blond, pink, blue, purple, orange, red, brown, yellow, and then there was me with plain black hair. We were getting closer to the front of the line and it started to rain. Not a soft rain it was a pouring rain. The rain hit us and felt like bullets piercing out skin. All of a sudden it stopped raining. The lines started moving kind of fast again. I handed the guards my ticket to scan and with my mom I walked into the big open field. There were tents all over the place with tons of band merch. On the far right side of the field, if you were facing the stage there was a huge body of water. For once as I looked around I felt at home. Everyone was wearing band merch. One girl bumped into me and said sorry. I was shocked because normal when someone bumps into me they start calling me names.
I bought a map that had all of the show times on it too. We went to the main stage to watch “ we came as romans” play. Around 3:30 pm my heroes came out of stage “black veil brides”. I was so happy to be there. Black veil brides has helped me through so much imp my life. I was jumping, singing, and even doing the horns with everyone else. It was truly the best day of my life.
