One night my mom woke up first and then woke up my dad. My mom smelled something, so she went around with my dad to look what was the smell. They couldn’t find where the smell was coming from. My mom was going to bed when she saw the fire.

My mom went and woke my us up. My dad got my little sister and went to my older brother’s room and got him. My mom came and got me. I didn’t know what was happening. I got up and walked to the door. I went and turned around and tried to get in bed. When mom saw me she came and got me. I thought it was seven o’clock, so I didn’t know there was a fire. When my mom told me to hurry up, I did.

I went downstairs and then to the shoe rack. I couldn’t find my shoes so I put on my moms slippers. I leaped out of the door because the ashes were coming down and it was near the door. I had to be careful when I leaped out of the door. My sister was standing on the porch so I carried her off the porch. The fired happen because of some wire that caught on fire. That is what had happened.
