Some of these things I wish I could fix, I wish they would have turned out differently, or even better never even happened. But as I sit here and look at this list I realize that there are far more good things than bad. I see what I have overcome, what I have accomplished. As I sit here I wish that I could take some of those moments back. And others I would die to live in them one more time. I would never trade the good moments for the bad. I have had stuff happen to me that no one should go through, but instead of letting them weigh me down with guilt and sadness I’m going to focus on what matters the most. School and family. I no longer want to live in the past. I want to look forward to the future. I’m going to enjoy every moment I’m alive. I’m going to let my dreams take me places. I will never let anyone tell me that I’m nothing, or that I can’t do something. Because I won’t let them. I’ll prove all those people wrong. And for the people that help me more than they know thanks for everything. You have no idea how much your advice has helped me.
I hope when I get older that I’ll make you proud of me. I hope I’ll be proud of myself.
