Diary of an Unknown Ally
Dear Diary,
Today, someone, once again, said, "That is so gay!" I almost cried. The person scoffed when I asked her to stop. I felt like I was slapped in the face. She turned around and left me in the dirt.
She thinks she is so cool.
While it is true that I do not have any gay friends, gay people should know that I am on their side; every step of the way.
I am silent when people abuse the English language. They sound so stupid, it is hard for me not to laugh. I bite my lip to keep quiet. Only when someone is actually talking to me that I correct them.
I have used words like "asinine" and "incompetent" to describe something inconvenient. The person with whom I was talking to had no idea what I was saying.
Some people are really dumb.
