I experienced prejudice at the golden corral.

A white lady stared at me and my mom the whole time we were there. Since this was a buffet you would walk around and get your own food but she kept telling her husband to get her food. Her bag was on the outside of her booth when we had first arrived but then she moved it under the table. 

My experience was similar to “Jabari Unmasked'' because that poem talked about how white people saw POC as uneducated thugs and thieves. And I felt that that’s what the lady night had thought about me and my mom. I don’t think my mom noticed but I know what happened.
