Having a Dog
Having a Dog
We all know those furry, obnoxious, yapping creatures that nip and whine; they are called dogs. Although they may be messy I think it is worth having a dog. I am going to give a few reasons why having a dog is a good idea. I am also going to give you some reasons not to have a dog.
First of all, they come in many different shapes and sizes. If you like small dogs that yap and use the bathroom every 20 minutes, be my guest because you will need to feed it very minimal food and take it on plenty of walks; even in the Winter. Those little furballs also bite quite a bit, so make sure you train your dog properly. If it is a Chihuahua or even a Pomerainian, if it’s a good fit for you, that’s what counts.
There are also medium sized dogs. Some of the medium sized dogs are such as Poodles, Shepherds, Border Collie & much more. You also must take it to the bathroom around 3-5 times a day. They must be well trained too. Feed it around 2 cups of food a day; one in the morning and one later in the day. You must take it on walks in summertime and any sort of weather.
Now, there are also those large dogs. There are many large dog varieties out there. Some of them are such as Great Danes, Pitbulls, Bloodhounds & Newfoundlands! Though those are some of the common ones, there are also many more little pooches. They also need to use the bathroom around 3-5 times a day and also need 3-4 ½ cups of food a day.
Many people adore dogs because they are cute, fuzzy and they have something to nurture. But they even have their own language that they speak in! Some dogs protect people! Local and State Police officers use dogs to have themselves an advantage of catching criminals and drugs. Since dogs are really smart, they can sniff out anything they are told.
Most of the extremely talented, loyal dogs are German Shepherds because they can develop their brain the quickest.
In conclusion, dogs are loving creatures that tend to get into trouble. I highly recommend that you should look into getting one, or two, or ten!
