Sacramento,My Home
My Sacramento is full of the scent of food from different cultures. Shiny streets and lots of big and beautiful houses and clean parks. There is also very nice places to go out and explore for example, Old Sacramento where the city's history thrives. Shops and restaurants along the Sacramento river are a good place to spend time with family. The Crocker Art Museum is full beautiful paintings and rich in history as well as Midtown that is full of street art that expresses the feelings of local artists. We have gorgeous trees all around our city as we are known as the city of trees. The sky is blue and the neighborhoods are peaceful with nice people going walks with their family or pets.
Unfortunately, everything I said was a great big lie. They are lots of homeless people suffering from drug addictions that are begging on the street for money to continue it. When you walk by the “ghetto” neighborhoods your feel unsafe and in the distance you hear car tires screeching and people cursing each other out. There is also a scent of tobacco and beer that lingers the streets. Most of our public transportation such as the light rail, smell like pee and makes me feel unsafe because any one can get on and possibly harm someone.
Even though we have some challenges we can help the neighborhoods out by cleaning the areas and picking up trash you see on the ground. We can also help by making a building that has food and water for homeless and so they can put their belongings there and sleep there so they don't have to sleep outside in the cold. We should also help make new buildings and plant trees where there is no shade. We can clean the public transportation.
