Osu, the game where it will murder your fingers and hands. The song was under the 4 star category and I can barely get the to end point of the songs. The song was good one but the mapper made it hard to complete. It was a new day and I told myself, you got this, this is gonna be a good increase to your ranking. I started up the song and began.

The beginning was easy like pie, but it then began to slowly got harder and harder. The speed was fast and my fingers were cold, to the point where it felt like it could freeze up on me. I started to strain my eyes so that I wouldn’t blink and miss a note. When I finally made it to a break, my eyes were tired. It was getting hard to concentrate without feeling bad. I fixed myself as the break was soon ending and started once more. The streams of notes and sliders that moved as fast as lightning when clicked on, was terrifying since once you go off beat, it’s really hard to get back on track. When it came to another break, I took a look at the timer which showed how much i had left on the song and I was close to finishing it. The break didn’t last long like that last one and went straight back in.

My body started to feel hot and my hands were getting sweaty. I knew at this point that I was closing in to the end. Adrenaline started to slowly pump through my body and I was slowly starting to be able to see the notes in a slower speed, not the really fast speed it was going at when I had first started the song. Second by second, moment by moment, I slowly got the hang of the speed and my subconscious celebrated the fact that I have surpassed my previous limit. I was excited to try out the new limits I had when I finally completed this song for once. I was near the end at this point and when I peeked at the timer for a split second, I saw it, the end. I went full focus and mashed the keys. I was getting closer and closer to the end, which also meant a higher chance of me failing right at the end as I have also been doing. Don’t fail, don’t fail, don’t fail, don’t fail! That was the only thing that was going through my head as I was practically at the end of the song. It was at the end and I DID IT. I finished the song off with a spinner that saved my life. I had a nearly a sliver of health left but I had made it to see the end.

The result screen came up and got a ranking of a C. I took it with gratitude since most of my rankings were C. I scrolled down to see what I had earned from the song. I had earned 5 PP and went up several thousand ranks in the process. I was extremely proud of myself and sighed with relief. Yasss, I did it. I survived. Haha. I was extremely exhausted but kept going. I played some other songs better a better score than my previous setting a new record. I was very pleased with myself as I did this. I could feel my limits rising further, leaving me with lots of room to improve myself while I climbed up to the limit again. I played a few more maps then stopped when I looked at the time. It was getting late and I was in a good position to stop for the day and continue possibly tomorrow. Exploring my new limit tomorrow was gonna be fun.
