Vice to Virtue
My vice for the letter A is anxious. I feel that this describes me because I get stressed in troublesome situations. Others also describe me as anxious because I get concerned and uneasy on busy or stressful days. For example, if I have many upcoming assignments due, it is easy for me to be stressed and agitated. While I am an anxious person, I am working on fixing it and learning how to deal with the stressful moments. Being anxious has taught me to appreciate stress-free situations, as well as learn how to deal with them.
My vice for the letter A is ambitious. While ambition can be taken in a negative way in some situations, I am ambitious when it comes to striving to be successful and working hard. Others also describe me as ambitious because of the way I work hard for my successes in my life and how determined I am to reach my goals. For example, I am motivated and ambitious to maintain my grades in school by studying and keeping up with my work. I hope to keep this virtue of mine because it helps me remain motivated when reaching my goals.
I wore my letter to a full day of school this past week. Going into the day, I thought many people would ask about it. In reality, only a few people asked about what it meant, and I explained to them that those are my most notable qualities as a person. While not many people asked about my letter, I still felt more aware and felt that more eyes were on me because of it. This helped me be more conscious of the qualities because people could simply look at the letter and think of me as only an anxious and ambitious person, even if they do not know me well.
