The Girl Who Felt Torn
People often don't know how lucky they are when their parents are together. Sometime it's good for families to be apart but not in my case when all you want is for my dad to be happy. He finds someone who doesn't understand you, so your pushed to the side when he's not there - kinda like Cinderella. You constantly feel abandoned. Finally you go to your moms for a weekend and then you find out she's moved on too . You realize that they’re never going to be together again and your heart floods with hurt. There's nothing you can do and you feel helpless. Then when you get into a fight between the two parents, you feel torn. They’re expecting you to pick a side, be a big girl, but all you can do is sit down and cry cuz you feel like your family is being torn apart.
