At first we were all laughing till I started screaming “we are going to die!!” when I went down the water slide at great wolf lodge. Once I got off my stomach felt like it had fallen out of my body  also the lifeguard didn't seem to happy with me, my brother and cousin.

This year for one of my Christmas presents my family got to go to great wolf lodge. I went with my Mom, Dad, brother, cousin, Aunt and Uncle. After we checked in and got our water park passes we went up to the hotel room it was so crammed in there it felt like a balloon about to pop. My cousin, I and my brother were bugging our parents about how we wanted to go to the water park; we were bugging them for so long we almost exploded. Finally they said “yes kids we can go just stop whining.” So all of us got in our bathing suits. Then when we were leaving the hotel room all the kids ran down the hall to get to the elevator and we were pushing the buttons like a bunch of toddlers.

When we got to the water park we all had to get measured to see if we were tall enough to go on all the water slides, as I touched the cool wall it sent shivers up my body. After we got measured all the kids started heading over to the biggest scariest ride of them all, the Howling Tornado. We had to wait in a line as long as a giraffe's neck but it was worth the wait. When we got to the front of the line I started getting doubts about going on the water slide, then it was our turn I thought to myself, there was definitely no going back now. When we were getting into our tube the lady asked “who wants to go backwards?” My hand shot right up I don't know what happened first I was scared and now I had just volunteered myself to go backwards.

Next thing I knew me, my brother and cousin were laughing having a good time then they stopped laughing. Then there was a big drop and my stomach  felt like it had fallen out of my body, I was screaming so loud, then to add to the fun the tube started folding because the weight was uneven the water was splashing in my face so much I couldn't even see the smallest speck of dirt. I got so scared I thought we were going to fall off so I started screaming “we are going to die!” When I got off the lifeguard didn't seem too happy with us.

I learned never to scream things that will never happen. When I got off the water slide I knew my behavior was bad because the lifeguard didn't seem to happy with us and people were giving us dirty looks which is never good. I want to cherish this memory because it was really fun and I will never forget the looks people gave us.
