Today Tomorrow
Today is the day. It’s the day I die. The day I survive. The day I jump off a bridge. The day I meet the next step in my life. Today is the day. The day I find something new, destroy what has become me. The day I run from my past, and from my future. Today is the day, my whole life becomes worthwhile. My money problems are eradicated. It’s the day I can stop worrying, the day hope wins out. But tomorrow will be more or less the same. The same decisions, the same achievements, the same bashing missteps. But today is today. Why waste it worrying about a tomorrow that may never come?
