Jayden has 6 letters. It is a bumpy name. But calm at the same time. It is the number 2. Very unique in certain ways. It is like the color blue, calm and also bumpy. Like the ocean, and the waves crashing on the beach at the crack of dawn. Or even the cloudy sky on a calm fall day.

My name in English means thankful. I am thankful and joyful with what I have and who I am. However it just scratches the surface.

My mom actually came up with the name. It was often misspelled when I was very young, and I always had to tell people the spelling. Not as much anymore..

My name is not from any relatives or past relatives. Just based off creativity and hard thinking. My name was actually not even the first choice. It was originally “Joseph”, but everyone else in my family loved the name “Jayden” even more. Mostly because of the originality. It was a relatively newer name being used.

My mom always wanted me to be creative, which is why she picked my name.Whenever I would draw or create something that looked even somewhat pleasing, she always loved it. She always said “I know you will be a creative person as you get older.” She mentioned that she thought my name represented creativity.

She never wanted me to give up on my dreams. When I grow up, she always said I should become a scientist and mathematician. Which would make sense because she always saw traits that I had before I even saw it myself. But I never really wanted that for myself. I wanted to create something that has never been seen before. Whether it was art or some new invention instead.

I always believed my name to represent being creative. My name often brings people to think that I am outgoing. Which can sometimes be true. Most of the time though I am not very outgoing. But I like to create many different things.

I truly believe I am unique like my name. But I feel like I still need to figure out a lot about myself to find more ways that I am unique. Many years later, I will grow into my name. My name isn’t just basic and boring. I want to be like my name in the coming years. Unique and special.
