The first song that I have ever listened to that had a pretty good meaning to it is “Amazed” by Lonestar.  This song means a lot to me because the first time I heard it I was with my best friend and her family. Everytime this song comes on when I hear it on the radio or if I just hear someone else listen to it I think about them and how close they are to me.  

Every time I listen to “Amazed” I get a weird feeling like this song is talking to me, like have you ever listened to that one song that resembles someone or something in your life that you love? It is like the song lyrics make your emotions pop out. The family would have a bonfire every other weekend and I’d always request them to play that song, so they did.  I love how the lyrics are and how they sound whenever I hear them. This song makes me happy, and it makes me think of them. The lyrics, “Never been this close to anyone or anything” are my most favorite lyrics I’ve heard in that song. These lyrics speak to me the most because it reminds me that I’m so close to them that I could call them family.

Once “Amazed”was on the radio so I told my mom to turn it up, so she did. I guess I never realized that this song connects me to my family too. I’ve been so close to them, and they have helped me through everything that i have been through over the years.  It comes to these kinds of songs that speak to you and let you know that there are pretty good things in life like family, I mean all songs can have a different meaning to it like this song, I have a different meaning to it. The things that this song makes me think about are the things that my friends, family and I have done together like fishing, swimming, watching movies, playing basketball, bonfires and other things.

I barely ever listened to music but then they changed that for me and I love it.  Listening to music changed me,it makes me experience things I never noticed before.  It made me realize that family and friendship is all you need. This song has drawn great people into my life, this song has gave me amazing friends and her family into my life.
