Mr. Superhero
Officer Robert D. was just about everything you could imagine from a police officer, school resource officer, teacher, coach, friend, family and so much more. I consider him to be remarkable, passionate, strong, couragous, and extremly sweet. The day I heard was recently when he passed away from cancer. It was a sad day in June when word that around and was even on the front page of the newspaper. He meant a lot to many people and connected very closely to hundreds of students daily, even outside of school. He is sure to be a Mr. Superhero and he will always have a place in my heart. He drove a long way to fight the battle, but somehow he will be with us all just watching over us.
