The Open Door MAG
On August 5th, 1996, the door opened
up and then it closed.
I thought it was over then, but it reopened.
My mother said, "Tiffany you have to see her."
As I slowly walked through the door, I
thought I would die.
I could hear your mother screaming, "My
baby!"
I walked out very fast.
The time came when Timmy, Shane and
I went into the room where your brother
and your cousins were standing.
Then they moved. I saw you in
between them and I started to cry.
I cried because my homegirl, just like
my big sister, was gone.
They took me out to the car and all I
could do is say "She is never coming
back."
Then I thought about Shaqwan/
Devlend ha ha! talking on the phone
after 11:00 knowing that if your mother,
as you would say mover, would say
"Meeka, do you know what time it is?"
So when she came you would whisper, I
gotto go, call you back later.
I did not know that July 31, 1996 would
be the last time you said that to me.
