Ode to Cheer
I give Erin so much credit for writing that. So many people push cheerleaders off as prissy girls who don¡¯t work and have it so easy. When in reality we put in a lot of work, effort, time, and heart. Cheerleading is tough. We sweat, tear muscles, break bones, and get bruises. And personally I think people who say its easy are often people who haven¡¯t tried it and seen how much effort is put in. Like any other sport we put our heart and soul into everything that we do and leave it all out on the mat. I think cheerleaders deserve much more respect that is given to them. Cheerleading is a sport, and if you don¡¯t believe me go try it for yourself!
