I feel bad for Cayla. She was excited about getting a new job and ended up hating going to work after just a week of it. I guess a crappy job at McDonald’s is better than no job at all though. I like her point about not judging a book by its cover and how people can surprise you, like Cory did. I know how nerve wrecking it can be on your first day at a new job. She makes a good point how more high school students need more humbling jobs, because you aren’t above anything. I agree that she should go to college and understand that she doesn’t want to work at McDonald’s her whole life.
