Rachel reveals a marvelous question in her poem , "Is Life A Joke". Love has no meaning anymore; it is just an overused "thing" now that is robotically sputtered without first being processed. A promise was meant to show trust. Nowadays, once that bottled up secret is revealed to that trusted comrade, the whole world knows. "Promise" and "Love" have despicably been degraded to such a pitiful level in our modern vocabulary. Those once prized words that were put on a pedestal have now dropped to the level of "LOL". The worst part is people only use "LOL" so they do not sound bland in their texts. Love and promise both involve trust. Without trust, how can any friendship or relationship last! Yes, life is a joke, and we are just trying to convince ourselves that humanity is still a species of caring entities and not just emotionless robots. Thank you, Rachel for trying to open the eyes of those who cannot look back to when words had meaning.

Your use of diction is fantastc. Your word sadly are true, but ther is still some beauty in life, some peace, and some happiness we just need to find it, share it, and embrace it.
