“Worth it” by AlleaBelle G is about how you go through everything and all the pain just to play a sport. I think this poem is very good and actually tells what happens. For example I play football and got hurt and practice and do everything else just to play the sport. And I think it is totally “worth it”. I also think the story appeals to your sense like when it says “Numb to exhaustion” it makes me feel numb. Or when it says “Locker room stench” I could actually smell it. I think AlleaBelle does very well making you experience it by just reading a story.
