The story “Loser” by James R in Beller Rose New York is about a kid who has never won anything like math bees, spelling bees and track. His loses are discribed as normal “as drinking a cup of coffee while reading The New York Times”. In the end he fails his driving test for the second time. But in despite of all of his loses he is grateful and is glad of who he has turned out to be.

I think that the short story Loser is trying to say that losing is not always bad. I say that because the person in the story always loses like when he fails his driving test by driving on the wrong side of the road. By him failing I think he has learned that is not always bad to lose. I would agree with him because when you lose you learn what you have done wrong. My main evidence for my thinking is in paragraph seven is says “dispite all the hardships and embarrassments losing has brought me, I am grateful.
