Gullible Girl MAG
A poem in the February Teen Ink inspired me. I read the whole poem, which I normally don’t do, but this one caught me. It reminded me a lot of me and was called “Gullible Girl.” The poet calls a girl gullible for loving all these guys who say things that aren’t true and she falls into their trap. When that happens, they shatter her heart. They say they love her and she believes them, and then they turn their backs and don’t even think about how she feels.
I’ve always believed that the guys I go out with love me when they say they do, but then they get “confused” and leave. It breaks my heart, it really does hurt! But this poem made me realize that love is worth waiting for and I thank Amber W. for writing it because it changed a part of my life.
