Wendy the Builder
The writing titled “Wendy the Builder,” written by anonymous, talks about the show Bob the Builder. Her writing left me felling curious about why Bob the Builder got credit. In the article, the author was talking about when she was younger she had an obsession with Bob the Builder. When she got a little but older, she wondered why Bob was getting all of the credit when really his co-worker Wendy was fixing everything. Her obsession with Bob the Builder faded away because he wasn't doing any of the work. It was all Wendy. Once the author was a senior in high school, she knew what she wanted to be. The author stated, "I want to be an engineer just like Wendy." The more the she analyzed Wendy the author added, "The more I see myself in her." That has made her more than ready to be a female on a male construction site.
