Walk For Hunger MAG
At the beginning of each May a group of friends and I get together to join 46,000 other people and walk for hunger. The 20-mile walk goes through parts of Boston, Newton, and Cambridge. It gives my friends and me a chance not only to raise funds for over 460 local food pantries, but also to spend a fun-filled day together, not to mention getting blistered feet, sore backs and that feeling of being able to help others less fortunate than us. So, join in the fun, take a step to fight hunger and walk in the 25th Walk for Hunger on Sunday, May 1st. Hopefully, I'll see you next year.
