Scared of My Savior
Finally, I was free from him. I thought to myself while I stood there breathing heavily and sweating profusely. I stood at the door of my house, looking all around and finding no trace of him. I collapsed down on the ground as exhaustion hit me. I had been running faster than I could so as to be away from him. I sat their grasping for air and clearing my thoughts.
Suddenly, reality hit me. He was chasing me and sooner or later he would reach here. But I can't let him get to me, at least not so easily. So I gathered all my strength and got to my feet. I unlocked the door and skipped inside. I locked the door and rushed to the kitchen. I took a glass, poured some water and gulped it as fast as I can. Just as I began to calm down with a feeling of safety, my mind alerted all my senses. I had just realized that he would try every possible way to get me. My breathing was heavy again and sweat began to trickle down my forehead. I locked up my backdoor and shut every window downstairs. My mind couldn't rest still and started making plans. I decided to switch off the lights so that he would end up thinking that I didn't turn up to my house. I left a small lamp on for my light source.
I ran upstairs doing all the same things. Lastly, I got to my room, lunged myself inside and shut the door. Everything was so silent. All I heard was clock ticking like it was counting minutes I had before he arrives. I shut the windows with panicky movements and turned towards my balcony. I stood frozen in my place. I couldn't move and my eyes got wide as I saw the shadow in the balcony. He started making his way towards me. My mind instantly recognized his structure. He was HERE! I probably had no chances to escape this time. I was trapped in my own house. My muscles tensed up as he was nearing. My heart began pounding against my rib cage. Now, he stood in front of me like a tall statue. His hair messed up against his forehead due to running. Sweat trickled down his muscular yet gentle face. I gulped down the lump that had formed in my throat.
He pulled me by my wrist and held my gaze. I managed to yell."Leave me! I have done nothing that bothers you..." Surprisingly his eyes flashed concern for me. Confusion covered my face and then he spoke, "I am here to save you."
