Chased
I'm breathless. I try to breathe in, but no air fills my lungs. I'm running, but he took away my oxygen. He's going to catch up any second now. I stagger down the road and look behind me. He's only a few feet away. And he's smiling. Finally some breathe comes to my lungs now that he's distracted. How can he do that? Take my air? No time to think about that. I run, I take a turn into the alley, and, when I almost escaped, my breath deserts me once more.
"Why?!" I scream.
He has me in his arms and he's carrying me now.
"Because you asked me to. You're going to die, now, Ariel."
I hear a sharp crack, followed by my senses dimming, I feel drained, and, subsequently, I feel NOTHING.
