[Enter Desdemona and Othello]

Desdemona: My sweet dear Othello, I cannot find the handkerchief you gave me

Othello: What? You lost it? How could you? I gave it to you as a token of my love!

Desdemona: Yes I know, I love you immensely baby; however, I do not recall where I put it. I’m deeply sorry

Othello: You are cheating on me aren’t you?

Desdemona: No, of course not!

Othello: Do not lie to me… tell me the truth right now.

Desdemona: I promise I am not.

Othello: That handkerchief symbolizes fidelity, but clearly you are not faithful.

Desdemona: What if I simply misplaced it? Why must you assume the worst?

Othello: If you cared about our relationship you would have kept it close to you.

[Enter Emilia]

Emilia: What’s going on here?

Othello: She lost the handkerchief I gave her.

Emilia: Oh, that thing, my husband asked for it so I gifted him to it.

Desdemona: You did what…?

Othello: To Iago? What a nice man why would he do such a thing? He knew I gave it to my beloved wife as a sign of my love.
