To touch the face of God
We yearn for the endless abyss to send something back. We sent messages out hoping that something greater would find us. We hoped we weren’t alone in the endless abyss. We looked outwards at first, hoping something was there. From what we see we created stories and myths, some our own and some of fiction. We began looking closer and learning more, destroying our preconceptions over and over. We began to explore, to see what was out there. We sent our culture, our society, our music, and our sounds. We sent ourselves not far out, hoping to go farther out one day.
But it seems the abyss was just that, an abyss.
But it was an abyss waiting for someone to shine a light on all its glories.
