Prey (Part Four)
The next night I did the same thing in a different place. And again the next night, and again. I couldn’t run out of places to come down from; it was New York City. Even so, when I did eventually, I could just have Forbes reverse me. Then again, Forbes would be long gone, and I would need someone else to do it, but no one else knows how, and I certainly can’t teach them.
I had to stop eventually though. How? Would I just gather enough people on night to last forever? Could I override my own data with someone else’s? Should I do this all soon before I lose the chance? I must shake these questions off. After all, there is nothing to fear but fear itself, and fear itself was trying to take over.
