One sunny day, an old man climbed the top of a hill, tired and panting, carrying two bird cages in his hand. Inside the cage, there were two birds. One of the birds was red and the other orange. The man sat under the tree, looking at the most beautiful birds in the whole world. Old man spoke to himself and said “ life is just miserable to these birds, as he has them stuck in the cage all day long”. The birds need freedom , freedom alone to see the world. The old man looked at the bright blue sky with the fluffy floating clouds, slowly started to open the cage door , to let his birds have their freedom. Speaking to the birds with joyful tears , “Fly away red and orange”. The birds immediately knew that they were granted for freedom and they flew out of the cage , happy and free , humming a joyful song. The man closed his eyes for a second and thought that he had did something heart warming. The birds disappeared and were nowhere to be found.

The old man returned the next day to see if the birds have came back and was amazed to see the two bird in the same spot he let them go. He kept this going for about a year, again and again day after day. One day as usual the birds were nowhere to be found. The old man spent his whole day waiting for the birds to show. The old man was disappointed that they didn’t show ,but he kept going daily after that still no luck in finding them.

A couple more months later the old man became very sick and was on his deathbed. He knew that his time on this earth was short. He still thought about the birds. As he was thinking about them, he heard birds chirping sound coming from the window. The old man looked over and was happier than ever to see the birds again one last time before he sadly passed.
