Uttered Silence
I live and breathe for that everlasting kiss that made me hold on. I couldn’t help but linger onto your lips and breathe in your perfect cologne. You smelled of aphrodisiac. You smell of love. I know now that my heart belonged to you when I first bumped into you. As you open your lips to speak, I sweep my finger upon your lips into silence. You know and I know what we both want to say. So why should it be said? It should be in uttered silence that we speak of our feelings for each other. The words are killing me inside. As I mouth in silence his and my words, “I love you”.
