Thank You
“Ty, I need to ask you somethin.” Lexi texted to him.
“Wat do u need 2 ask me?” Ty texted back.
“More like give u. It’s special and can’t be taken back.”
“I’m stumped. U can just tell me. =-o”
“Should I tell him? Ah well, what’s the worst that could happen?” she thought to herself.
“I was gonna give u a kiss. Told u it was special.” she finally texted. She was worried now. What would he say? “Pring!” went her phone. “Oh no, I don’t wanna know.” She said aloud. “Yes, I do.” Flipping open her phone she read the message: “O u hav no idea how much I would love that, =-D”
“Wow. I never thought I’d hear him say that.” Lexi said to herself again.
“Good 2 know.” She texted back.
The next day, she got off the bus and walked up to her table, just like usual. She looked over to where Ty was sitting. There eyes met, and he got up and walked over to her.
“Hey. I gotta go to my locker and get my Geometry book.” She told him.
“Kay.” Was all Ty said and followed her. While they were at her locker, she got interrupted many times by friends. She told them to buzz off, and nodded her head towards Ty. They got the message. She turned to him and asked, “So where do you wanna do this?”
“Um, I don’t know.” Ty said, not meeting her eyes.
“Stairway?” Lexi suggested.
“Sure.” Ty replied. They walked over to the stairway, facing each other.
“Well,” Ty started to say, and Lexi couldn’t understand anything else. So she rolled her eyes and leaned in. When Ty realized what was happening, he shut-up, gasped a little, and kissed her. It was a short kiss, but it was nice all the same. When Lexi pulled back, she heard Ty say under his breath, “Thank you.” She left giggling.
