Panic
Dry land drowning. Gasping for air because you can't seem
to breath.
Fear
sets in and everything around me begins to blur. What's left of the world screams. Alarms come from every dark corner. The walls cave in and I feel something under me moving.
Images speed by my head as my hair attacks my eyes,
my mouth
my face.
Screaming,
high- pitched and shrill, emenates from the blurred walls as I'm thrown deeper into this mad frenzy.
I feel hands- 2, 3, 10 hand yanking my arms as the very air I breath beings to harden in my lungs. Nothing makes sense and then
Silence.
I hear my name in a familiar voice. The world comes into focus and I can feel the warmth of those arms that have engulfed me. A heartbeat fills my ears and I take a deep breath.
The air is cold and the screaming has stopped.
"That's called panic," he said.
