Peaceful
Today is so nice and peaceful that scuba diving, something I’ve done since I was little and have all the equipment for, seems like a great way to spend my day. As I strap into my equipment, all my worries go away, and I am under the water. All I see is the sky above me through a glossy layer of water. Below me there is pure darkness filled with monsters. The ocean is filled with many majestic and beautiful creatures. I don’t have time to see all the wonderful things I came here to see. I’m running out of air and sooner than expected. All of a sudden something with suctions the size of hands pulls me down into the darkness deep below. As we struggle to free from each other, the octopus and I become even more knotted up. I remember that I have little to no air left, so my fists thrash, and I free myself. Swimming as fast as possible, I break the surface just as my air tank goes empty. That’s the fun of exploration in the ocean. You are rushed to see so many intricate and awesome things.
