What they say
They all said the same thing. He was a jerk. He cheated. He’s just messing with you. He doesn’t care about you. BLAH, BLAH, BLAH! Those people didn’t even know him at all. They only saw the show that he put on for everyone else. They only saw how he was at school. They didn’t know what a nice guy he could truly be. They didn’t know that at the end of the day, everything he put her through was worth it just to lay in his arms with him. That’s the side of him that no one else saw. No one knew that boy the way that she did. So yes…. Maybe he did treat her bad sometimes, and maybe he was a flirt, and some of the other things people accused him of being, but that didn’t matter to her. She was in love with him. More than anyone would ever know. So she tuned out what people said and hoped that none of it was true.
