I instantly regretted walking into my uncle's bedroom on Christmas day. My cousins only made everything worse. In the bedroom, giggles started arising in me as I spent time with them. At the same time, I realized I needed to use the bathroom. My bladder was about to explode as I tried to fight the urge, but my giggles made it unbearable. I quickly stood up from my sitting position to run to the bathroom. Little did I know, the moment I stood up, everything was about to go downhill.

My family and I went to visit relatives for Christmas. As always, I spent the majority of my time with my cousins, Allison and Hayley. My big sister, Lissette, also joined us. Originally, we were all on the main floor of the house since we had a Christmas feast. After the feast, all of us headed down to the basement. This was our usual hang-out spot because the adults took up the entire main floor. Not only was the temperature cooler in the basement, but it also gave off a relaxing vibe. Therefore, we began lounging on the couch and catching up with each other. We were able to catch up on school life and many other things. Soon, Allison wanted to share some juicy gossip. She wanted us to go into my uncle’s bedroom for more privacy as the adults could potentially come to the basement. As a result, we all head toward the bedroom. At that same time, I could sense a small urge of wanting to run over to the bathroom.

As we all began to calmly sit down on the carpeted floor in the bedroom, Allison accidentally spills her canned soda. So, a brown and bubbly stain began to soak into the soft and tan carpet. Fizzy bubbles seep through. She completely panics because she does not want to leave a stain on the carpet, especially in my uncle’s bedroom. As spilled soda was getting absorbed into the carpet, Allison got up and rapidly takes off her black shirt. She instantly throws it at the direct spot where the spill is. Giggles started erupting in me because I was not expecting Allison to sacrifice her shirt for spilled soda. The more I thought about it, I burst out laughing. As soon as I laughed, my bladder decided it needed to be emptied. I thought I could fight the urge, but I just could not hold it in anymore.

Immediately, I realized I had to go to the bathroom. I stood up to run to my destination, but Hayley was blocking my path. I panicky crossed my legs, and ran around in circles, nothing was helping! With my uncontrollable laughter, I managed to shout "Hayley, move! I really need to pee!" However, Hayley would not move as if she assumed I was joking. Panic began to set in as I knew my bladder decided the time had come. I shove Hayley aside and I speedily grab Allison’s shirt that had been thrown on the carpet to clean up the spill. I thought to myself “If I use her shirt as some sort of a diaper, there’s a slight chance I can still hold…” My thought was interrupted, as I began using the bathroom on Allison’s shirt in my uncle’s bedroom.

The bedroom became quiet enough for everyone to hear a sound similar to a stream of water. While in the act, I see Allison drop down to the ground kneeling as she is witnessing what is happening in front of her. My back is turned to Lissette and Hayley, but I assume they must be in shock. As the stream of water sounds ends, the bedroom fills with laughter. To my surprise, Allison thought it was hilarious that she admitted “It’s okay Vanessa, I peed too!” I was in disbelief, so my eyes glanced down at the carpet where she was kneeling on the ground. I noticed another spill that was not there before. With this new information, everyone laughed uncontrollably. “We gotta go, Vanessa!” Allison yells in a hurrying voice. I soon catch a glimpse of her wearing nothing but a tiny towel around her waist. It is as if Allison is Sonic because it was all so quick that I did not even see her undress. Allison grabs me by the wrist and we both leave waddling our way to the nearby bathroom.

In the bathroom, we clean ourselves up as we leave Lissette and Hayley in the bedroom to clean up our two puddles including the soda spill from earlier. As we settled down and had a new change of clothing, all we could talk about is what happened. Everyone began to share the same story but from their own perspectives. We never got to hear Allison’s juicy gossip, but our bond as cousins became stronger.
