As everyone floods into the gym like a tsunami, it gets chaotic and loud. Everyone leaping onto the bleachers, anticipating the start of the assembly. It gets packed shoulder to shoulder onto the bleachers, and the announcement comes, the assembly has started.

Just into the excitement, some people notice a light shaking in the bleachers. However nobody stops or worries. And suddenly… Everyone froze. The music stopped. And it went quiet. The overhanging light shook, the bleachers started to make people tumble, and an earthquake had begun.

Rush and panic erupted, and everyone tried to get off the bleachers and into safety. Quickly tapping down the bleachers and some falling, but luckily not hurt.

Bang!

Everyone turned in shock and noticed the basketball hoop buried in the court. But this was no time to stare, as they rushed to lower ground. As they all were in the midst of panic, everything stops. 

Getting settled in now and everyone stops, as the ground comes to a halt, and the earthquake had stopped.

Nobody even said a word, stood in fear, and they all knew that the day had been ruined, and possibly the entire rest of the school year.
