Moving to America

It was dark out, almost midnight. Music and laughter echoed through the neighborhood. Worried but excited, my family and I got into the car. The music died out and all the loud noises vanished. With our luggage in the trunk, we left the house nervously, and many followed us on our 30 minutes trip, to the airport. We got there. We took our belongings out of the car and said goodbye to everyone. Most of the people there burst into tears and my family went into the airport. We did all the security and paperwork and went to our gate. Entering the plane, I was very worried, worried about my future, and nervous to enter the new world. The plane took off, and I was getting lifted up from my home country. Getting smaller and smaller, Vietnam eventually disappeared from my eyes and I was not ready to say hello to America.
