THE FINAL GAME

        “Pass the ball over here!”

“Run to the net and kick the dang ball!”

“Hurry, run as fast as you can, Consuelo!”

Everyone was cheering Consuelo on at the big tournament for which team wins 1st place. There was only one minute left, the time was ticking fast, it seemed like she wouldn’t make it. The two teams were tied, 4-4. Consuelo’s school mascot, Pirates, were playing against the Tigers. Consuelo passed the ball to Sarah, then she started to run towards goal.

“Pass back Sarah!”yelled Consuelo.

“I gotch you!”yelled Sarah.

    As Sarah kicked the ball back to Consuelo, Consuelo was thinking “Am I going to make the shot.”, “I don’t want to make the team mad.”

“Hurry, there’s only 20 seconds left,”yelled Coach Juan.

“Let’s go Pirates, let’s go!!”

As the crowd were on their toes, they roared as loud as they can. Consuelo jucked each girl, one by one, left to right. Consuelo was like ten feet away from the goal (which was not that far).

“What side should I kick it, what side, what side?!?”said Consuelo to herself.

    Consuelo kicked the ball as hard as she can and…….

“GOOOOAAAAALLL!!!!”yelled the crowd.

     Everybody jumped out of their seat and screamed their lungs out. All the girls from the team, even the goalie (because the goalie is waaay across the field), ran to Consuelo and jumped on her very, very excited. All  Consuelo can see  was the number, under Pirates, change into a 5. The score was 5-4. Consuelo heard the buzzer go off, and thought

“We won, Yaaaaay. I can’t believe I made that last shot, I thought I would have

no time to make it!”

“Good job, Consuelo!”said Adriana.

“OMG you made that in like, 5 seconds on the board before the buzzer went off.”said Sarah.

“Ayee, you made that winning goal thoe, remember what we said we do if we won the game.”said Brenda.

“I remember!”answered Consuelo.

Consuelo and Brenda said “Waaaaa, Waaaaa!!”as they did the Nae Nae.

    All of her family came up to her, after she did the Nae Nae, and hugged Consuelo, she got a lot of hugs from her family. Then her other friends came. Alfredo, Victor, Blanca, Kevin, Mayra, Aaron, and Jason gave Consuelo a big hug. Alfredo called Brenda, Sarah, and Adrianna to them, so they can all take a picture.

“Lets go out to eat, it’s on all the champions parents and the coach,”yelled Rosa,who is Consuelo’s mom.

Everyone yelled, “Yaaaay!”

    Everyone got in their cars and went to John’s Pizzeria. All the teammates, friends, and family were gruben into the pizzas. There were about 26 pizzas , and more on the way, that were ordered. Everyone had to go home after they all had fun chatting and eating.

It has been about 1 year after Consuelo made that winning goal. Consuelo is now started Sophomore year. Consuelo got some new friends during the past freshmen year and their names are Juanita and Stephanie. They are like the Plastics at that school- I know there suppose to be three Plastics, like in the movies Mean Girls and Mean Girls 2, but ya there is only two.

“We’re finally Sophomores!”said Blanca.

“I know right, and your Quiceñera is coming up, Brenda.”answered Mayra.

“I know it’s almost here like, yeee.”said Brenda. “I want all of you guys to be in my party, like for the damas and for the chambelanes.”

“Thanks, you won’t regret this…. We’re the life of the party,”said Victor and Alfredo.

They all laughed as they were walking in to the school. Consuelo saw, from the corner of her eye, Juanita and Stephanie dogging her. Consuelo wondered what happened, like what did she do wrong, but she ignored them.

“Ummm do we got some classes together.”said Victor.

“It depends what classes you got, then we’ll see.”said Consuelo.

They talked about what they got. Then time went by, it has been two months into the school year. It was 10:00pm and Consuelo snuck out with Victor to a building because Consuelo wants people to remember her art, so they did a mural. Consuelo and Victor started to spray paint Consuelo’s art then as soon as they were going to finish the mural they hear sirens.

“Oh no not again,”said Victor.

“Yup, again!”said Consuelo.

So the policemen put them in the swat car. The policemen told their parents where they were at. Consuelo and Victor had gotten in trouble like this, but Adam got them out of it. They stood at the county station for three days. The cops said if they did that again they would go to jail FOR SURE. Three days have gone by and Victor’s parents have picked him up. Then 2 hours later Consuelo’s parents picked her up.

“You’re in big trouble, Consuelo,”said Rosa.

“I know I am, but-”answered Consuelo.

“No buts, when we get home, no t.v. …”

“Okay.”

“No computer.”

“Okay.”

“And no SOCCER!”

“Okaaaa-Wait WHAT!!I’m okay with no tv and no computer, but soccer.”said Consuelo.

“You heard me and I mean it, I thought we trusted you and if you want those cleats you have to earn them,”said Rosa.

“Okay, but PLEASE let me play soccer.”said Consuelo.

“No.”

“PLEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAASSSEEE.”

“Fine, but you promise me you won’t get arrested again, okay.”said Rosa.

“Okay.”

                    3 days earlier…

    Before Consuelo and Victor got out of county station, it was hard to get them out. Consuelo’s and Victor’s parents couldn’t get them out that easy because Consuelo and Victor were in that situation before. Their parents had to make a plan to get them out of the county station. They had to hire a lawyer to get them out and they did. It took a lot of effort to get Consuelo and Victor out of  the county station.

    Months have past by and Brenda’s quinceñera was a blast. Consuelo was still grounded from her arrest. Rosa was deciding whether or not to get her those very expensive cleats. Victor had ask Consuelo out on a date.

        “Umm I liked you ever since Sophomore year started.”said Victor.

“Me too,”answered Consuelo.

As they were chatting away Consuelo was thinking “OMG I can’t believe

he ask me out like wowzaa. Wait that ain’t me and that sounded like a preppy girl and I really can’t believe he ask me out.” While she was thinking on how cool it was that Victor ask her out, Victor was thinking the same.

“So where do you want to go?”said Victor to Consuelo, as they were walking    

down the street.

“Ummm I don’t know, how about somewhere that is fun.”answered Consuelo.

“Ummm, there’s a carnival. Do you want to go there?”said Victor.

“Sure lets go have fun.”answered Consuelo.

Consuelo and Victor were having so much fun and were getting really

close together. They thought about if they should tell their friends and if if they did, will it be weird. Later on that night (like 2 hours later), they were walking down the street then heard a car’s tires burning and screeching against the concrete floor. Then heard cops driving to catch the get-away car. Consuelo started to get worried. The sirens of the cop cars getting closer and closer.

“Don’t worry I got you.”said Victor.

“Okay, thank you.”answered Consuelo to Victor as she pressed her left side of her face against his chest, while he was hugging her.

Then as soon as Consuelo was calming down, they heard gun shots going in the air. Victor saw Consuelo panicking again, so he held her tighter. Then all of a sudden the world felt like it was slowing down and when Victor started to panic he saw Consuelo slipping out of his hands. Victor went to his knees and held her on top of his knees, on his knees. Victor was tearing up seeing Consuelo in pain. He put his hand on her wond.

“Consuelo, Consuelo please stay with me, stay with me!”yelled Victor, while crying.

A lady had heard Victor and said “What happen here, is she okay!”

“No and can you please call the ambulance, please…. HURRY!!”yelled Victor.

Consuelo was breathing big chunks of air slowly. The ambulance had came and ask Victor what had happen, while the were putting Consuelo on the stretcher. Victor went inside the ambulance, but the paramedics stopped him.

Victor started to tell the paramedics why he couldn’t go. So then Victor just started to run towards Consuelo’s house. When Victor got there he told Consuelo's parents what had happened.

    “Is my baby okay!”said Rosa.

    “What happened?”said Angel.

    “Consuelo got shot.”said Victor.

    “What!”said Angel.

    “Let’s go see if she is okay and BOYS come down stairs quick, we got to go to the hospital.”yelled Rosa.

    “Can I come?”said Victor.

    “Yeah, you may,”said Daniel.

    “While we’re driving there call Alfredo, Sarah, Blanca, Mayra, Adrianna, Kevin, Aaron, Jason, and Brenda to go meet us at the hospital.”said Rosa.

“Okay.”answered Victor.

They all drove to the hospital, where Victor saw Brenda.

        “Where’s everyone else?”said Victor.

        “They all texted me and said they are on their way.”answered Brenda. “Is Consuelo okay, how is she doing?”

        “She’s doing fine,”answered Daniel.

        “We don’t know that,”said Rosa.

    The doctor came out and said, “She’s barely making threw the wound and she is on life support.”

“Is she going to make it?”said Victor.

“Please, please say she is!”said Rosa.

“Calm down ma’am, everything is going to be okay,”said Angel.

“We’ll try to do whatever we can ma’am.”answered Dr.McAndrew.

Everyone was very worried about Consuelo. Jason, Aaron, Alfredo, and Kevin came to see Consuelo at the hospital. They all went to the desk to see what floor she is at. When they got to the floor Consuelo was at Jason was the first one to see Victor sad and Consuelo’s parents also sad, and Rosa was balling out her eyes.

    “Is she okay?”said Jason.

    “What happened?”said Sarah.

    “When did you get here,”said Kevin.
