A downpour crashed into the leafed branches, forming a thousand waterfalls that mudded the ground and deafened the woods. The crashing of footsteps echoed through the muddy trees as a man ran drunkenly through the aeons old forest, crashing into trees and tripping over roots in his frantic fleeing. To his maddened eyes, a wall of darkness advanced upon his broken and bloodied form. He mouthed the ancient and strange words, “Iä Umarth” as the darkness descended around him. He witnessed a single eye open in the darkness, as the revelation of his irrelevance crushed his mind, gripping him in despair, he let loose a single, reverberating scream, before silence engulfed the woods.

Just an emulation of one of my favorite authors, H.P Lovecraft. It's short and to the point.
