HEARING YOUR CHARACTERS SPEAK!
This act is about a young couple that are ready to have a baby and they are having a hard time seeing eye to eye. They hardly speak to one another and when they do speak its always a fight. He works constantly an she is finishing up in her college course,they are having a hard time getting along.







ACT 1
Ashley-
ugh im tired of this.

Josh-
what are you talking about?

Ashley-
me and you, (sniffles) we dont get along and we have this baby coming any day.

Josh-
well one of us has to provide for this family.

Ashley-
ok that has nothing to do with what im saying to you, and once im finished up with my college I will be providing for us as well.

Josh-
well if you dont like it then I think we need some time to think this threw.

Ashley-
is this really what you wanna do knowing we have this baby coming any day, (sits down and starts crying)

Josh-
maybe it will be better for the baby all this fighting is no good for him.
(gives ashley a hug and exits bedroom)




ACT 2

Ashley-
water breaks and gets rush to the hospital.
Your here!

Josh-
just because we had a little fight dont mean that I dont love you and I wouldnt miss the birth of my child.

Ashley-
well maybe we should talk.

Josh-
are you up for it now, you no what never mind why dont you rest and before you know it are baby boy will be here.

Ashley-
ok.

Hours go by and the baby noah jacob was born .

Josh-
oh my god he is beaitful

ashley goes back to rest and as she falls asleep she hears josh saying to baby noah

Josh-i promise you little man I am going to do right by you an show you everything you need to know and I will always protect you and I will never hurt you. Me and your mommy love you so much. We will always be here for you.

Ashley-
josh I think we can fix this relationship for noah. I think the birth of him has brought us together and you showing up here after are fight shows me that you do care, and I understand that work can be stressful and dealing with my moods I can be a little hard. And I just want us to get along and have noah grow up with both parents in his life everyday. I dont want him to live split families.

Josh-
I was thinking too, and your right I need to lighting up some and hear you out and come to agreements and make time for you and our son!

Ashley-
I like the sound of that let's start now on making are family better I love you josh
