This was back in the centuries. I was born in a beautiful and powerful planet full of creativity and magic. My mom and dad died the same day I was born. I opened my eyes and I saw a woman carrying me. The woman looked like she was around her 40’s and she had blues eyes, blonde hair, and had some wrinkles on her face. She was walking outside, heading to a car and as we were in the car I can see many trees. As the woman got out of the car I saw dark green grasses, a pond with a gigantic clear waterfall, and the air smelled so fresh. While she was carrying me, I looked to the left and saw a house. The house had huge windows and there was so many of them. The woman was heading the direction of the house. As she went up the stairs and opened the door there was so much yelling and screaming going on in the house. I saw so many kids running back and forth playing with each other, and most of them were young like me, but a bit older.

I grew up as an orphan and wondering if I had any parents, but the ladies in the orphanage told me I did have parents before, but now my parents are in a better place than this world, and I would think about how my parents looked, and who they’ re like. I would always look out the window and see children with their parents and I thought to myself when am I ever going to be a child with great parents, but growing up as an orphan was hard for me because I have no one that will ever love me. I also had no friends because everyone in the orphanage would hate me or be scared of me because of the way I look. I am tall, but look short, skinny, normal nose, and big eyes. My hair was orange and yellow like the sun and my eyes were black and gray like the moon. I was born with a birthmark on my back and also a scar down my eyes, and because of this, people hated me and wanted me dead. Most people in the orphanage called me a monster, but some of them say that I am special. I have to say that I am special though because I can do many things. For example I can control the universe and create many objects, but I keep these as secrets.

In the orphanage there are not many things to do, but sit around and play with the toys. The thing I like about the orphanage is that I get to watch television most of the days. The orphanage is huge, but it is always crowded. The house is made up of wood and most times the rooms will start to smell. Most foods are disgusting. Every morning the nun will shout “Come eat breakfast!” and for the rest of the day the nun will serve lots of other gruesome things, but at least I have something to eat. In the orphanage I usually hate the nun at times because they will repeat the same thing over and it really gets on my nerves.

I was watching television in my room one day and on television they talked about the king. Behind the king was his niece. The girl had gold and blonde hair. Her eyes were big and hazel with long eyelashes. She reminded me of an angel. She was rich and lived in the kingdom with her family. Her dad is the king’s brother and they both hated poor people. I knew someone like her wouldn’t like me and would not like to be near me, but I still hope that one day we can meet each other.

One day I went outside to watch and stare at the waterfall. I was bored and decided to start throwing rocks at the waterfall. While throwing rocks, I started talking to myself, and I do not talk to myself. Then I heard someone saying “Hey you!” and I thought to myself, now I’m just hearing voices. Then all of sudden “Hey you over there!” and as I turn around there was a girl standing there, but my eyes were so blurry I could not tell who it is. She walked closer while I was rubbing my eyes, and then there was the king’s niece. I thought that I was just hallucinating, so I rubbed my eyes again and there she was standing in front of me.

“Hey, did you not hear me, or were you just ignoring me?” she said.

I was just standing there, staring at her straightly into the face quietly and then I blinked.

“Oh, I’m sorry, my bad,” I said, standing there nervously.

“It’s okay. Well, my name is Earth, and I am the king’s niece,” she said, “What’s your name?”

“My name is Wings Orphing Ronix Loluta Danuen, but you can call me World,” I said.

“Wow, that is one long name there, but I prefer calling you World instead. So why are you all alone out here? And where are your parents?” Earth said.

“Well, I just came out here because I like watching the beautiful waterfall and I have no parents, both my parents died on the same day I was born. What about you?” I said.

“Oh, I am really sorry” Earth said.

“Its okay” I replied.

“But I came out here to watch the waterfall and enjoy it. Do you live anywhere near here?” Earth said.

“I live in the orphanage with a bunch of other kids, and I enjoy living there, but mostly all the kids hate me,” I said.

“Well, that is mean and they shouldn’t hate you. You are awesome,” Earth said.

“Thank you,” I said.

“Well my dad is coming and if he sees me with a boy I will be in big trouble,” she said. “Well, bye see you tomorrow.”

“Ok bye,” I said

As she left, I was so happy because she was the first person to ever talk to me in my whole life, including the mothers in the orphanage, but when the mothers talk to me they always look away. I was really excited for tomorrow, too, because I get to see her again and talk to her. I thought Earth would be more of a girl who hates people and does not like being close to anyone like me or someone similar to me, but she was actually something different ;she was cool, nice, and awesome. Earth did not care how I looked and she still smiled. Earth was the nicest person I met.

I woke up the next morning. I went to in the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. After that I changed into my clothes. I looked out the window, but there was no one. I ran downstairs, ate breakfast and ran to the door, but then I remembered I have to go to the backyard for the announcement, and during the announcement I fell asleep, but I heard that we were going to the kingdom and only one person will be chosen and given a special prize, but the rest of the announcement I did not hear. When the announcement was done I ran to the waterfall. I got to the waterfall and I was so tired and out of energy. I looked and saw Earth, she was standing there and she was wearing a beautiful white dress and her eyes were just shining as she turned around.

“Hi Earth you look pretty,” I said.

“Thank you World, and Hi. Did you hear about the event that is going to happen at the kingdom?” Earth said.

“Yes, I am kind of excited about it because one of the orphans is going to get a special prize. Are you excited about it?” I said.

Earth said, “No I am not that excited about it because I feel like the prize is not that special.”

“I am sure it is not going to be something bad, and tomorrow is my birthday,” I said.

“I will give you something tomorrow when you come to the kingdom,” she said

A car stops and yells “Earth get in the car, now!”

I said, “Who is that?”

Earth said, “That is my father and I have to go now. Bye.”

I walked back to the orphanage slowly, and was thinking about the event tomorrow. I thought to myself maybe the event is bad, but I ignored it. When I got inside the orphanage, everyone was gone. I went upstairs and check every room in the house, but still there was no one. I thought to myself maybe they are throwing a party for me, but they will never do that because none of them likes to be around me. I decided to go to sleep and just wait till the orphans and mothers are back. I couldn’t fall asleep because I was just too excited about the event that is going to happen tomorrow. As I closed my eyes I had a dream that I was in another world.

I was walking downstairs and it was around 4 o’clock in the morning. I drank milk and went to my room to watch television. At 8 o’clock everyone woke up and got ready for the event. We went outside waiting for the bus. It’s been five minutes already and the bus haven’t came. Then, finally there was the bus and the bus was huge, but old and looked dusty. The whole orphanage went inside the bus and the seats were all ripped up and inside was so hot.

We were heading to the kingdom and it took so long. We arrived at the kingdom and the kingdom was gigantic. On the outside there are guards everywhere surrounding the kingdom. As I stepped into the kingdom there was statues everywhere and everything in the kingdom was so shiny. We went to the back of the kingdom because that was where the event happened.

We were at the back of the kingdom and there were so many people. Everyone was pushing, yelling, and screaming, and everything was so crowded. I was squished and sweaty, I felt like I was dying. I looked up and saw the king walking up on the stage and behind the king was Earth. As she was walking across the stage, I was just staring at her the whole time; I ignored everything else, until the king said a word and I finally blinked. Then, everything went silence and no one said a word. I realized that I was not with the orphans. I was jumping and trying to look for them, but they were in the front so I decided to just stay where I am.

It was about an hour already and I was really hungry. The king kept talking about the event and it was getting really boring. Then, finally we had a lunch break and I was so happy. The kingdom served us delicious foods. After finishing I saw Earth standing on stage, I wanted to yell out her name, but then I saw her dad so I decided not to, and I would have embarrassed her in front of her family.

Lunch time was over. The king had a big glass shaped like a square and in the glass is the orphans name and there were so many names. The king said the prize well be something really special. The king pulled out a name from the glass and my eyes were opening widely. The king yelled out “World” and it was my name I had a big fat huge smile on my face and I was just so happy.

I was walking up on stage and thinking about my prize and Earth, but what happens if I got a million bucks from the king or something else. I got on stage and looked at the king, but he turned away, and right now I did not care about how I looked. I walked to the center of the stage and the king told me what my special prize would be, but I could not hear him because he kept looking at the other direction. Then, he said the prize out loud so everyone can hear. The king said that the prize was that I will be sent to another planet and I will be living there for the rest of my life.

I was so upset and so depressed because now I will be in another planet, and I will be apart from Earth. As the guards took me away, I heard “Wait!!!” and I turned around their was Earth running up to me.

I said, “I guess this is goodbye.”

“Why did it have to be you? There are so many other orphans and it turns out to be you,” Earth said, sadly, “but I will come and visit you one day and I will never forget you.”

“Okay, well I will never forget you to and we’ll always be best buddies forever, right?” I said.

Earth said, “Right, forever. Oh, I got you something for your birthday.” She handed me this necklace shaped like an oval with a heart in the middle.

I asked, “What’s this”

“This is a necklace where we can communicate with each other no matter how far away we are from each other,” she said.

One of the guard said, “Times up we have to go now.”

“All right, well goodbye and I will always call you every day,” I said, “Well, goodbye.”

As the guard takes me away from Earth I was quite upset, but happy at the same time because we will always be in contact with each other. I was worried though because once I get to the planet I have to survive by myself. The guards took me in this rocket ship. This rocket ship will take me to the other planet. I was in the rocket as I saw the planet my eyes opened. The planet was blue and green. Since I am going to be the only one in this planet I decided to call this planet, “Earth.”

As we landed there was beautiful green grass. I stepped on the grass and it felt so cool and nice. The air was smelled so fresh and as I looked to my left there was this gigantic ocean and that was the only thing my eyes would be looking at. Then I heard something, and looking at the right I saw a creature running back and forth. I realized something, the day before the event I had a dream and the dream was about me being in a different planet and seeing all these creatures and my dream did become true.

I was sitting down on the grass trying to call Earth but she would not pick up. She probably has school right now. Then I ran down into the forest making a house out of anything I can find. I finished building my house then, I hear the necklace ringing. I ran and opened it and there was Earth. Earth still looks the same and nothing has changed about her.
*20 YEARS LATER*

I am 22 years old now and I am all grown up now. Earth and I still communicate with each other, but it’s like once or twice a week. I always wake up with a smile on my face. After I go out to the ocean and swim for a bit. Then, I eat or I decide to hunt. During the afternoon, I just mostly sit and look at the sky. When its night time I usually talk to Earth or go to sleep.

During these 20 years I learned so many new abilities, for example I can understand the creatures that live in this planet. One day I was so excited because Earth told me she was going to visit me for a week, but this made me kind of sad because it was only for one week.

I was sitting outside enjoying the trees and beautiful air until the necklace ringed. I opened up the necklace and Earth looked so angry.

I asked, “What’s the problem?”

“My parents are telling me that I cannot come visit you because they do not like me to be anywhere near you,” she said, “but I am going to sneak and come.”

“Wow, but do not come you’re going to get caught,” I said.

Earth said, “It’s my decision and I am coming because I hate living here. Well my parents are coming, bye.”

I’m thinking in my head, can she really make it.

I wake up the next morning and went down to the river to wash my face. I ate fish and it was so delicious because I have my own ingredients. During the afternoon I saw something that was going to hit the planet and it was shining. It hit the top of the mountain. I got up there and saw a woman she turned around and I saw Earth. I ran up to her and hugged her.

I said, “I missed you so much”

“Me to,” she said.

“Did you sneak out to come all the way over here?” I said.

Earth said, “Yes, because I wanted to be with you and no one else.”

“Really, maybe we can start over with our lives and be together forever,” I said, “Would you like that?”

“Yes I love it,” she said.

Earth and I have started new lives and will be living in this planet. Soon we will have full of people living in this planet. This will become part of my world.
