Life Before Jen
I am standing across the street looking at a empty bench. A woman is walking up to the bench. She sits down, opens her book and begins to read. She drifts off into her own world. A man walks up from the other direction and sits down next to her: maybe they know each other. They begin to talk and eat lunch. Her head goes back in laughter. He hugs her for comfort. They say their good-byes and embrace in a hug. They will join together tomorrow for another lunch on the bench in between their high schools.
