He was always two steps behind. Never knowing how to get ahead or heck even at the same pace as everyone else. He was the cutest boy you have ever seen with dark brown eyes that you couldn't help but get lost in. When you really look hard you can tell he is lost. You can tell how much hurt he has went through when you look deep in those eyes. He will never tell you all of his pain ever because he doesn't want people to know how much he is truly hurting deep down but in his short life he has seen stuff some people can't even imagine going through.

Late at night when he thinks no one is listening an in a place only he goes he lets it out. Everything... all his pain is right there in his sad little weeps he lets out in his dreams. When he is wrapped up in the arms of his lover. When he feels like no one can hurt him there, that is when it comes out. The pain for lost loved ones, and everything he has built up inside of him.

His lover can't do anything but hold him tighter during these nights. Murmur in his ear that she is there to help and he won't be hurt right now. She tries everything in her power to make sure he isn't hurt anymore than he has been already. She tries to make everything safe for him. But being a kid herself how is she supposed to make the pain go away from her past let alone his. For her to have to look into those lost eyes and know there is nothing in her power she can do to make all that pain go away kills her inside. But what she does know is that she is going to do everything in her power to help him make their future better if it takes her last breath to do it.

She can see some of the pain from past lovers failing on him residing just a bit but she knows it will never truly go away. The pain is just to deep.

Maybe just maybe that is why they are meant to be together because they both know pain all to well. Maybe they are supposed to help each other that might just be why they are still here to help one another through those troubling nights when they don't want anyone else to know they have. To tell each other when they are felling like they just can't go on no more. Maybe just maybe that is why they are meant to be..
