Yay! “New soft carpet to walk on, instead of that old stuff” said shoes. “Well I am new and I do look good, so please don’t dirty me up. I like to stay looking nice when visitors come over” said the carpet. It appears to me that you like looking ugly. Shoes got very upset and went upstairs to cry, while shoes was crying he tried to think of a way to look nice so carpet didn’t talk to him so rudely again. While he was thinking he said to himself “that’s it”.
I am going to make carpet dirty by walking around in mud, then coming inside and stomping on him. Shoes thought maybe then carpet won’t talk so rude and mean to me. So shoes walked down the stairs and right out the door, and asked mud if he could walk on him.
Mud said, “sure”. After he was done he went inside and asked carpet if he was ready to pay, and before carpet could answer he was already stomping on carpet. He said “I’m sorry for calling you those mean things please forgive me”. Shoes got off and said “I forgive you”, and from then on they were best friends.
