So happy and free

We came, so happy and free. Everyday we woke up to our alarm clock screaming. We dressed up, ate breakfast, and went on our way. Everyone told us that these years won't last. We didn't believe them. We thought we were smarter than them. But they were right. Today was our last day of our first year. Now what? Nothing. One year has passed us by. Another is coming soon. How much shorter will the other three last? No one knows the answer. Now as the year comes to an end, we leave. We leave just as we had come. So happy and free
